All residents are required to register their pets, so the City can monitor and control Cape Town’s animal population. If you would like to register your pet, then follow the process below.
Step 1: Navigate to https://www.capetown.gov.za/City-Connect/Register/Pets-and-animals/Register-your-pet
Step 2: Chose your method of registring. See section “Register or update your pet’s details by:“
Step 3: Once you have obtain your Permit, download and complete the Sierra Views Pet Application and Agreement form and submit your documents via email or upload via our website.
PS. Your application must contain the following in order to be considered;
- Picture/Photo of dog(s)/cat(s) – LIMIT is 2 animals per dwelling.
- CoCT Permit
- Sierra Views Application form
- Proof of up-to-date vaccination card
- Proof of Neuter/Sterilisation certificate(s)
Your application is not guarenteed and might be subject to special clauses/conditions determined by the trustees.
Permission can be revoked at any time by the trustees for whatever reason.
